You’re probably familiar with the feeling of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Having so-called bad luck. Believing that some people have it better than you, and grace and opportunity just befall them because they are somehow living right and you’re just… NOT. But what if you could learn how to always be in the right place at the right time?
Must be nice, right?
Sometimes you just hit a season of being IN IT. Everything just feels hard. Wrong. Like you’re bad news in a bad neighborhood doing crimes against yourself. You can’t find your joy. You might feel grumpy, confused, and panicked like you need to DO SOMETHING RIGHT NOW to fix yourself.
Everything is showing up late. You should have figured this out by now. Nothing is lining up the way your mind insists it should.
And underneath that frustration is a deeper fear: That you’re behind. Off-track. Missing your moment. Somehow failing the soul mission you know you have the potential to be living.
What if all this urgency and fear and worry and resistance isn’t actually yours? What if it’s programming from a colonialist system that is running off your blood, sweat, and tears (and endless inner criticism and self-loathing?)
Wellness culture talks about synchronicity as if it’s this glittery spiritual event that happens on special days — an angel number here, a magical coincidence there. But real synchronicity is constant. It’s daily. It’s glimmers and wins and every holy instant that you tap back into the vibration of LOVE.
You are always in communication with Source. Your guides. Your highest self. Your wisest parts. Even when it feels like nothing is happening. When you are crawling instead of gliding. Even in grief. In the slog of radical self-acceptance. Even through the tears and the frustration.
Even in the swamp of your own surrender.
How to always be in the right place at the right time is to change your perception.
Stop looking for a moment, and cultivate a relationship. Tap into the ongoing conversation between your soul, your nervous system, your emotional waves, your inspired actions, and trusting the living intelligence of the Universe.
And here’s the wild part: Alignment isn’t something you go out and GET by doing stuff. It’s a vibe you allow. A flow you release and relax into. Something you catch the way you catch a wave — by softening, not by thrashing.
When you stop demanding certainty, you begin to feel the subtle pulse of divine timing. You start to pay attention to the window that flings opens instead of the door that slammed close. You hear your intuition grow louder beneath the noise of the old patterns and habits. You recognize that the chapter you’re in — even if it’s messy, even if it’s uncomfortable — is sacred and necessary. And actually, you’re ok right here, right now.
You are not late. You are not lost. You didn’t miss it. You are standing exactly where the next part of your becoming can find you.
This week on the podcast, I’m exploring how to always know — in your body, in your spirit, in your lived experience — that you are in the right place at the right time. Not philosophically. Not as a cute spiritual slogan. But as an embodied mindset and belief practice that shifts your nervous system and changes what stories you are telling yourself about your place in the world. Let’s exhale together.
Love,
Sinclair
