👵🏽 Is Grandmother Ayahuasca Calling You? How Do You Know?
Ayahuasca is one of the most beautiful, healing, powerful, life-changing plant teachers on Earth. She is the Grandmother spirit. Abuelita. The dark feminine serpent who carries the knowledge of the ancient Amazon jungle, Pachamama, and consciousness itself. She is a living portal to another way of being and understanding.
Ayahuasca is here to help us shake the sleep from our eyes. To remember. Her power and purpose is unmatched and unique. Her spirit soft, yet precise. And stern beyond measure when needed. (And sometimes we really need her to give us a good kick in the ass! IYKYK) She embodies the full spectrum of feminine power and softness and everything in between. She holds us through unspeakable ecstasy and the heaviest suffering. She cleans, clears, cures, inspires, loves, and humbles – all in the span of a single ceremony.
To answer the call to work with ayahuasca is to say yes to a union with a living, sentient master teacher. To agree to come to her with preparation, intention and purpose. With reverence and humbleness. Asking for healing. Clearing. Cleaning. Clarity. To be in peace and love in all things. And for anything that is not aligned with that to go gently.
Ayahuasca above all teaches us about death. How to die well. How each letting go is a death. Of the ego. Belief systems and stories and layers and layers of self-criticism and unworthiness. The change isn’t “be someone else.” It’s deprogramming and removing and clearing all the trash out of the way so you can celebrate your own medicine and magic. So you can be here now.
Ayahuasca is a medicine of liberation and remembering.
Beyond the science and medical guidelines, beyond the research and trip reports… what makes this medicine a good fit for you? How do you know? If you’re being called, how can you be sure?
In this week’s episode, I’m sharing about creating a healing partnership with the Spirit of Grandmother Ayahuasca. We’ll get into the essence and vibration of this remarkable medicine, and I’ll share my own experience getting to know her over the last 8 years. This is the first episode in a series getting to know the Big 3 (Aya, San Pedro, and Psilocybin…)
Love,
