EP 151 COSMIC WEATHER REPORT: LIBRA SEASON, SOLAR ECLIPSE, AUTUMNAL EQUINOX, AND FINDING BALANCE IN RELATIONSHIP

The arrival of Libra season 2025 marks the exquisite point of balance between light and dark. Self and other. Letting go and allowing space.

This time of year, the tress are showing us how to be. In spectacular fashion, they flash their gorgeous colors in a crescendo of celebration before releasing themselves back home to Earth one by one.

This is the time when trees are able to gather their full energy in their root systems. Here they nestle into a season of repair, rest, and doing the soft, silent work of receiving sustenance from the Earth so they can be ready to burst forth in Spring with new buds.

Nature is always showing us exactly how to be. When to be soft, when to rest, when to allow the old leaves to gently fall away (even when it’s throwing up a fireworks show on its way out.)

Sometimes our releasing is dramatic and painful. It feels as if we get stuck on the merry-go-round of self-sabotage, poor coping mechanisms, and doing things the way we always have. We get so tired of ourselves, even feel rage and anger at ourselves for STILL BEING STUCK HERE.

And yet, this is the only way family. Through. There’s no shortcuts to doing root cause, permanent healing. And sometimes it feels like it gets worse before it gets better. That there’s no way out. But you mustn’t give up. It’s always darkest before the dawn. (I love this song when I feel this vibe!)

The medicine path refuses to let you look away from yourself in your own suffering. Healing comes when you are finally capable of holding it all with compassion instead of judgment. Feeling it all with embodied presence. Standing humbly in radical acceptance of your full, messy, diabolical, ridiculous self. When you choose to surrender to your own fear and darkness and let it engulf you, THEN you are ready to experience true liberation.

When you look at your path with gratitude. With the deep understanding that it could be otherwise. That the treasure was always waiting at the bottom of the deepest cave – your own heart. That you were never broken. That you are more powerful than you know.

It’s in the balance of our darkness and our light where our true peace resides. Not in stamping out the dragon inside, but loving it. Offering a soft place for your rage. Your disappointment. Your sharp edges. Your dirty, ugly, messiness. Welcoming your holy authenticity without apology.

🍁May this season bring you the delicious relief of a calm and peaceful heart that is no longer at war with itself. And may this peace wash over the Earth, and every being seen and unseen may find rest and safety in the vibration of Love.
