Hot damn, we love to fight with ourselves. To micromanage every aspect of our awakening. To make healing a thankless, soul sucking job that dangles perfection in front of us like a moldy, gross carrot we can never reach.

We yearn to iron out the kinks and coils of our messy humanity.
To blame ourselves for not being who we “should” be — while simultaneously avoiding the truth that has been screaming inside us for months, years, or decades.

This is resistance.
The ultimate internal CELEBRITY DEATH MATCH: YOU vs. YOU
Who wins? No one.
Because the cost of “winning” is ignoring your body, shutting down your intuition, overriding your energy, and pretending THIS IS FINE while your body, heart, and spirit are waving a red flag like, “HELLO, we need to talk.”

Your authentic self, your heart, your soul — They do not like to be ignored. Tantrums will ensue and you will call it lack of discipline, self-sabotage, or just being “tired.” You will force harder.

And here’s the wild part: We can live like this for a long, long time. You think, it can’t stay like this, but it for sure can — and it will — as long as you stay locked in resistance with what you already know is true.

Questions I ask my clients in this situation:
Why are you pretending not to know?
What are you not willing to admit to yourself?
Why do you believe you deserve to suffer?

We pretend because facing the truth hurts…and facing the fact that we’ve been avoiding the truth hurts even more. So we numb out. We override. We hustle. We cling to the familiar misery instead of stepping into the unknown.

Because we don’t know HOW to change.

Resistance isn’t you doing it wrong. It’s is a normal human response to change.
Change is uncertain. It’s destabilizing. It threatens the identity you’ve worked hard to maintain.
So you sharpen your claws and get ready to hang on. You clench. You dig deeper into your coping mechanisms, protection strategies, and getting “back on track.”
You decide to “ride out the storm,” even though the storm is you against yourself.

Eventually, your system cracks. The body says no. Your intuition gets more shrill. Your energy dries up. And you find yourself at the crossroads — on the verge, possibly chronically ill, in pain, and having lost connection to your life force. You are exhausted, over it, ready to either burn it all down or finally accept yourself, tits deep in the mess.

This is where I meet people. (Hi. I’m so glad you’re here.)
And where many come looking for medicine to help them.
Plant medicine. The medicine of community. Of family. Of deep self-inquiry.
The medicine of being witnessed. Of speaking your truth when it feels impossible to say out loud.
The medicine of rest and softness after a lifetime of survival and fighting.
The medicine of trusting your body’s intelligence instead of trying to fix yourself.
The medicine of laughter and joy and release and sensual pleasures of a life well lived.
The medicine of Nature and ancientness and remembering a lost connection to Spirit.

This is the medicine of integration.

Surrender isn’t weakness.
Surrender is a path of grace.
It’s the shift from victimhood into responsibility. From blaming life into learning from it. From being dragged by your patterns into partnering with your evolution.

This is spiritual physics — the universal laws that govern transformation. The mechanics beneath your suffering. The architecture of your awakening.
It the poetic natural language that explains why resistance spikes right before a breakthrough.
It’s the pressure of the old self dying and the new one forming.

Most people need the discomfort to get loud enough, messy enough, undeniable enough to finally stop pretending and actually listen.
Resistance is the herald.
Surrender is the initiation.

When you see resistance as the signal that change is already happening, you stop spiraling and start collaborating with what Life is trying to teach you. You take responsibility for your part, clean your side of the street, and then — the most important step — you hand the rest over to Source.

Because it was never all up to you.

Your job is to get the lesson.
Spirit handles the orchestration.

When you expand surrender from the ceremony into your daily life, everything becomes an opportunity to stop forcing and start trusting. Every struggle becomes a teacher. Every challenge becomes a mirror. Every pattern becomes a practice.

And resistance?
It becomes the compass pointing you toward the exact place you’re meant to soften.

Let’s get into it on this week’s show.

Love,
Sinclair
